I too fell into this scam.
They called me at they begining of August about five times.
Each time I hung up saying I was not interested. Then I got a man who was very polite, and seemed to know what he was doing.
He assured me that this was on the "up and up".
He promised me a master card with a $2000.00 limit. To be sent UPS.
All I would need to do is pay a one time $199.00 fee.
A red flag went up there and I told him this was too good to be true, it must be a scam. No he said if I wanted to cancel at any time I could.
And that they reported to Equifax and many other credit companies.
I was then told to listen to a recording and at the end of it I asked more questions and told him this didn't seem right.
He again reassured me that everything was legit.
So here I am two weeks later with no card, and out $209.00.
And they wonder why no one trusts each other anymore?
If any one has any information on this please help.
