I'll start by saying that I initially liked Kohls. But after my divorce is when it went down hill fast. I had perfect credit or almost 787. I took on about 30k worth of debt in my divorce, my ex ended up with about $900 for only the kohls acct. They wouldn't let me be removed from her acct., I mentioned that ALL others let her be removed from my acct's. They didn't care. I had made a couple of her payments when I checked to see if they were made and hadn't been. I checked every other month, they advised me that they had been current. To my shock and horror to find out they hadn't been for months and were 180 days late. When I filled out for a credit card through my bank. I had a serious delinquint acct. Not possible I said as I always make double payments. My credit was now at a 647!! 140 point drop. I immediatly payed off the bal. Still no help to fix my credit as of yet. I may have to file suit. Not sure yet.
