The turkey hams sold at aldis actually taste like ham!!!
I personally, like to boil the turkey hgam in water for about 30 minutes.
Boiling removes a little salt. Water can be cooled and used to cooked garden fresh green beans, add a small piece of onion and some pepper.
After boiling the ham, i let it completely cool in the refrigerator.
Once cold the ham can be cut 'paper thin'. DO NOT TRY TO CUT HAM
When warm/hot it doesnt cut well.
Once cold the ham can be reheated and will cut quite well!!!
Aldi has the best turkey ham. Its' quality far exceeds, in my
opinion, any other turkey ham in todays market.
Aldis turkey ham is closer to the taste and texture of ham,
aldis has a superior, an excellent product.
However appleton processes their turkey, their technique is above any method the other processors use, in my opinion.
