I signed up for a free account with Yousendit in March. I had to upgrade the account for a $15 fee in order to send some large files to a client. After the month, I followed the necessary steps on Yousendit to cancel my premium account and return to a free account.in May I discovered that I had been charged for two months of premium service after I had cancelled the account. I contacted customer service only to be told that my account is a free account and I wasn't being charged. Customer service then asked for 8-digits of my credit card and the expiration. When I refused sending that much information via email and sent screen shots of my account receipts with yousendit, customer service told me this..."I see that your account was canceled however, the billing was still active, so you were still charged. However, I went ahead and escalated the issue for you to Level 2 so they can deactivate the billing for you so that you will not be charge for next month."
They never offered to refund me for the two months of service I didn't want, and didn't use. They also never explained how it is possible that my billing remained "active" when my account didn't.
