We booked 2 flighttickets from europe to amerika, this summer. At the moment that we booked it, Cheap o air transferred the money from our creditcard in the dolar amount, so on my creditcard account it showed the amount in dollars and euro's.
Then after a few hours the booked the money back, same amount in dollars, but different in euro's, because of the change in currency. Then after 1 day they boked the money of my creditcard again, same amount in dollars, different in euro's.
The difference between the first payment, and the last is over 120 dollars per ticket, in advantage for cheap o air.
I booked the flight tickets, for a price. And because of them, (sending the money back and withdrawling it again) i paid 240 dollars over the price that i booked them first.
So i contacted cheap o air a few times. And when i get someone answering my phone call, they don't understand what i am saying or putting me on hold. So maybe mailngthem is better, but they only answerd my first mail, with the answer that they will get back on the mail and are figuring it out.
I never got any answers or mails back.
So an advice from me to you is... Don't ever use cheap o air, cause when there is something wrong (what happens a lot) they won't do anything to help the prolem. Use kayak or cheaptickets cause i never had any problem booking a flight on that page.
