I registered at babies r us, threw the store in Ontario, California. I am having a boy so I registered for all boy clothes. ALL the boy clothes are showing up as girl clothes on the online registry. They said it would be fixed within 72 hours. It's been 2 months and it's not fixed. They all give BS excuses and say different things about it. One lady said when people click on the item it will give them a choice between the boy item or the girl item. However you can't click on the item for this because they are under the "in store only" section. A man said that all he can tell me is to put on my registry that I want boy colors... I'm pretty sure denim is a "boy color" however a DENIM DRESS is NOT a boys item. They don't even apologize for the huge inconvience. They are clearly satisfied with having a messed up system and not being able to number items the same.
THEN babies r us, doesn't even honor their prices! I went in to get my stroller since it was showing as 203.99 instead of 239.99. I printed out the registry that showed the 203.99 FROM MY REGISTRY and after the store manager, Steve, even said he would honor the price, they wouldn't honor it, even after we showed them the print out with the price on it. I called the customer service and the lady I talked to confirmed they do not honor prices! Even a smaller store will honor their own prices!
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME REGISTRYING WITH BABIES R US! TAKE YOUR BUISNESS ELSE WHERE THAT KNOWS HOW TO NUMBER THEIR ITEMS, TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS, HONOR THEIR PRICES AND APPOLOGIZE FOR INCONVIENCES.
You are better off going with target, baby depot, jcpennys, any other store except babies r us because everyone else seems to know what they are doing!
