I ordered a Squinkies Wedding Surprise toy that my 6 year old was desperate to spend her Christmas money on. She's been jumping up and down for over an hour in excitement. The Squinkies toy was cancelled (despite still showing available at this same store for in-store pickup). The ridiculous solution in the email was to have the item shipped directly which adds a significant amount of cost to fix the mistake made by TRU. There wasn't even an offer to honor the price when the item was in stock. I'm quite certain that if I did drive to the store I would see the same item for a higher price than the online price and that is why the local store cancelled. It's scummy to advertise a price and then make no attempt to honor it after the order has even been confirmed.
