Received a text on my mobile phone from *unknown* person/business and deleted the text. Three weeks later, my phone bill has the $9.99 charge with the above description. After calling Sprint, I was informed that the 'companies' charging the bill often use a text that requires a response of "No" from you, or else they charge you $9.99 for their services. Naturally, no service is provided. Sprint was able to credit back one of these charges for $9.99, but would not be able to credit another charge which was greater than 30 days ago. The only way to prevent such charges from showing up is to block (via Sprint) the text alerts from these unsolicited service providers.
