Got an unsolicited text message for "BRAIN COOL" which billed itself as $9.99/month for 3msg/wk.
"Welcome to Brain Cool! For HELP call 18888906150 $9.99/mo for 3msg/wk. Reply HELP for help Reply STOP to cancel Msg&Data Rates May Aply."
I replied with the word 'STOP' as directed by the message, because I didn't want to hear anything from these people again, and I certainly didn't want to pay $9.99 a month for the privilege of them spamming me.
A few weeks later my Sprint Bill had an extra $9.99 attached to it. I got a chat going with a rep online, and asked him (as kindly as I could manage) to turn those alerts off in the future, and take the charge off my bill.
