I received a text message from IQ Power on April 25, saying "Trivia Alerts 3xmsgs/wk at $9.99/mo. Enter your PIN on the website: 2697 Msg&Data Rates May Apply info: tinyurl.com/82m8uce Reply HELP for help." I never replied. Then on May 15, I received the a text saying the say thing, just in a different sentence order. I then received another text following that saying "IQ Power: Welcome to Trivia Alerts! 3xmsgs/wk Monthly charge billed @ $9.99/mo. Reply HELP or call 8888906150 for help. STOP to cancel Msg&Data Rates May Apply." Then another text following that saying " No one knows how many people died during the sinking of the Titanic. Reply STOP to Cancel For HELP call 18888906150." I replied stop and then received a text stating I've stopped the alerts and no further messages or charges. I had no idea I was being charged at all until I received my cell phone bill and was charged $9.99.
