Reacted on a fb Ad for a FREE trial sample of cream where one only had to pay the postage. Credit Card details were asked for this small amount of ZAR 23.38. (ps. The dollar amount mentioned is an estimate but should be very close as I am not sure what the exchange rate was that day). On mentioned date AND the day thereafter i. E 05/08 the following two amounts were deducted WITHOUT MY PERMISSION from my credit card ZAR 790.96 and ZAR 712.29. HOW my bank ABSA paid over these two amounts WITHOUT my authorization I do NOT know. Seeing ALL the complaints and comments on "scambook" I am of the opinion that they are NOT legitimate.
