When I was moving to a new area I almost didn't want to move because TWC was the provider. Having spend what must have been days, if not weeks resolving issues over everything imaginable with them in the past... I dreaded the move. The one thing that they are is consistant! I was quoted a price for services of $89 and a free package of movie channels for a year and then we received our first bill it reflected $149 and and additional $42 for the movie channels I have now spent 3 long calls with them and continue to be told that someone will call me. I received a second bill yesterday with no changes made. It's been a month. The wild thing is each representative I speak with says that they see in my file that this was the quoted price but none can to anything. This company has such a short sighted vision the money they spend paying these poor souls to sit there and listen to what must be thousands of calls without being able to resolve anything.in addition, to being illegal it blows my mind that there is no goverment agency overseeing this monopoly! This is America? Can you imagine if anyone of us handled ourselves in this manner say on Craiglist - we would end up in prison. I have heard that even contacting the FCC does not good. You can see I'm fired up -and I never ever write reviews. The time will come when businesses will not be able to act in this manner - for all of us TWC customers I hope that day comes soon!
