I recently moved, I had my Comcast transferred. They (two men) showed up on a Saturday, took about and hour, drilled holes in my walls, and then as the hooked up their box I smelled the burnt wires, they not only FRIED my 49 inch HD flat screen TV, but also Burned up the high def DVD player. They said it wasnt them, it was they electric and that my plugs are shooting out 220 volts instead of the normal 120. They then called supervisor, who tested all my plugs and said they were all shooting 220 (tested all my plugs in the LR and DR. So my landlord called an electrician, and he tested every plug, checked every wire and said everything was fine. So i called comcast back, no answer from the for 3 days, then the main supervisor came to the house and tested it himself and then called he electrician and was told the same, He then proceeded to tell me that he would be back with me that day or the next, That was Wednesday, it is now going on Tuesday of the NEXT week and I havent heard anything. They are were rude, very unhelpful and damaged almost 1000 dollars worth of electronics
