We recently found out that Angie's List allows consumers who merely call us - and not schedule and appointment, not get pricing info, not have any in-person discussions - to rate us.
This rating actually counts 25% towards the Angie's List grade we get.
We normally get all "A" ratings. We are a regionally known contractor and our work appears in magazines. We have won awards for our work and are very proud of what we do.
We were notified by Angie's List that someone who called us had rated us with all "F" grades. We called Angie's List to get this bogus review taken down, they refused.
We would like to get other businesses who have been harmed by this policy to challenge Angie's List. There is much more that is wrong with them, but this was the finale.
We find this outrageous and the possible damage to our reputation is unforgivable.
