My gas was cut off due to late payment (my fault because my debit card was stolen and some one cleaned my account out) This put me behind paying some bills for a couple of weeks. I called to turn it on and pay. I explained what happened, the woman with no heart said I had to pay $150 deposit and $50 reconnection fee and even $4.00 to pay over the phone, I am single and broke and have no where to turn, I don't even know how I'm going to feed my children because of this, I have never talked to such a uncaring company in my life, I plan on changing my water heater over to electric when I can afford to do so. At least the power company worked with me, Also, I asked why i was not notified and she said they tried to call, the number she tried to call was not even close to my phone number that I have had for 15 plus years. Nice way to rip people off that are having trouble.
