I purchased (via online) a dog that for my daughter to show, I was told that she had a prolapsed uterus and needed to be spayed. Upon arrival I noticed a golf ball sized bald spot on the dogs back and was told that was from a epidural done in Oct. it was now 4 months later and the spot still looked freshly shaven. The hair started to grow back quickly so that was not a issue, then one morning when I let her out of her crate for the day she pulled herself out using only her front legs. I immediately took her to the vet, he took x-rays and told me that the dog had a calcified spine and would need surgery to fix the problem. I notified Big Holler pups who replied with " did she jump off the bed or couch" I told them she had not and faxed over my vet records to her vet for them to review. I asked for her vet records for the dog and was given a hand written letter that stated the dog had been treated for a prolapsed uterus in Oct. 2011 then seen for a health cert. To fly in February. Prior to the dog being treated for the prolapsed uterus this vet had never seen this dog. So I asked for the vet that seen the dog in her 2 years of life prior to this vet, Big Holler ignored that request. I asked for the vet that seen the dog to do the pre - pregnancy exam, that too was ignored. I then asked for pictures to show proof that the dog was able to walk. I was sent 1 picture of the dog at 6 months of age, and about 50 pictures of the dog showing the mysterious bald spot on her back at 2 years of age. No other pictures, no vet records. I did not have the $5k to get the dog the surgery so I had to put her down. Big Holler refused a refund so now I am stuck paying over $2k for a dead dog and dealing with my sad, upset, heart broken child!
