I entered the store around 7:05pm to make a purchase when the cashier yelled to her co-worker "she is disgusting". I was the only customer in the store at that time. The co-worker just laughed in my face. I am a victim of 25yrs of phsycological abuse. There is a man serving a 14 yr sentance for attempting to take my life after beating and raping me for 8 yrs. I am at a stage in my recovery where everything turns to anger. I am trying to move forward with my life and i do not take kindly to this treatment after 2 yrs of isolation. I spent the entire night awake churning over this matter and how to handle it properly to avoid myself getting into any trouble! I went to the manager on April 22 at approx. 9am. The manger April proceeded to tell me this very cashier had another complaint filed on her also and that she is pregnant and going through a lot of things pertaining to her personal life. I wasn't aware that your could bring these things to work with you and mistreat paying customers. I have been doing business with hickory point for years. I have never been treated this way! I got the impression the manger is friends with her due to the fact she was only justifying her employee's actions. The manager told me she could not give me any number but the store # to file a complaint and that she would talk to her. I feel as though I am being treated unjust at this point!
