I too was supposed to be purchasing a 2004 Celica from Debra Roberts. The transaction was supposed to be handled through ebay motors. Things seemed legitimate and I was so excited to come across such a nice vehicle. I emailed and she gave me all the details on the car and told me ebay would be sending me an invoice and western union instructions. I received the email instructing a westrern union payment to ebay representative Cedric Bubeck. The email looked legitimate with all ebay logos and copyrights. I sent the money and then a couple days later was informed by Debra and the fake ebay repesentative that an additional 2400.00 had to be secured for the transport and then it would be released to me when the vehicle arrived. I was hesitant and emailed Debra 2 times asking specifics. She just referred back to it being an ebay policy and request so I went ahead and sent it. That was on Friday. Today is Sunday and I called ebay directly to find out it is all a scam. I am so upset. I was purchasing this car for my daughters 16th birthday and now I am out 5041.00 and so stressed out.
