We received a phone call on April 9th.initially it was an automated recording promising that if we took the political survey we would get a free all expenses paid 2 day cruise. We knew instantly it was a scam. Especially when later on after the survey, a representative came on the line and asked for our credit card number to pay the port of tax fee of $59 per person. We immediately goggled the company and informed them that all we found was scam information. When questioned, they emailed us a "corporate endorsed certified letter of guarantee." We still weren't buying into it. The representative then put her "manager" on the line. When challenged once, the man got very defensive, very fast. To the point of almost argumentative. Telling us not to believe everything we read on the internet and wanting to know what our bottom line was. The fact that he got so defensive so fast and didn't offer any other information was a red flag that we were right.
Don't buy into this crap. It happens all the time. Take the initiative and ask questions, do some research... Before you hand out our personal information, even your last name.
