I received a call asking me to complete a political survey which would take 30 sec and if I agreed to take it I would win a free 2 day Caribbean Cruise to Grand Bahama Island. I took the survey and then was told about the free cruise. I was told to pull the website www.my2012vacation.com while I spoke to John (corporate ID #0043). The website looked like a bonofide Caribbean Cruise website. While describing the details of the cruise on the S.S. Bahama which would leave from Palm Beach Florida he mentioned that there would be a $59 fee or $118 for two people due to reserve the room and I could put it on a credit card. I refused to do that and then a "manager" was put on the line explaining that this was necessary to reserve the room. I declined and said I should be able to call the cruise line myself and verify the conditions of the free cruise. That pretty much ended the call. I feel this was a definite scam and the website was a fraud as well. The political survey was simply a hook to introduce the "free cruise" bit. Everyone should beware of this call.
