I recently bought an airline ticket through cheapair.com on spirit air lines
Cheap air represents on their web site that “what you see is what you pay! All taxes and fees included”:
Select an Airline What You See is What You Pay! All Taxes & Fees Included
Mix & Match
from $321
Spirit Airlines
from $326NonStop
When i arrived to depart on spirit i was informed that i had to pay an additional fee of $76.00 to cary on my luggage to lga and an additional
$ 56.00 to cary my luggage on board to travel home from lga.
Both of these charges were billed as “carry on fees “
When i protested, spirit said that i could not fly with my cary on luggage unless i paid the extra fees
Although i have never previously been charged for cary on luggage, and i note that 15 out of 16 airlines flying from ord to lga do not charge this fee, what is relevant is that:
Cheap air said “what you see is what you get” and “all fees included” when i purchased my ticket,
This was a double guarantee that cheap air made to me per the copy of their on line window.
$132.00, in fees assessed by spirit at the air ports should be refunded to me by cheapair.com
