Charged $350 Early Termination Fee After Only 5 Days of Service

I applied for verizon wireless on 2-20 I was ask for a $400 deposit, so I agreed and paid the $400 deposit, after 5 days of service I cancelled the service

I returned the 32 gig motorola razr phone to Best Buy, Best Buy called verizon-informed verizon I was cancelling my wireless service, I spoke to a verizon csr

They told me I will receive my $400.00 deposit back within 4 weeks, I called verizon last night march 7 I was informed by a verizon wireless csr, I was charged a $350.00 early termination fee for only 5 days of service. Each time I call I get a different answer, one csr told me he took off the early termination

But then I called back today march 8 I was told I still owe a $350.00 fee...

Verizon wireless is a total scam...
