My husband and I have been complaining to the Administrator of Fairfield Twp. For the past THREE years about a drainage pipe which belongs to the Twp. The pipe starts in our yard, goes under the street in front of our house and is suppose to drain on the other side of the road. This pipe has been crushed for three years and everytime it rains our front yard is a river. At this point the "river" has destroyed our side yard and has continued to flow into our back yard. We have lost all of the grass that we have replaced for the past three years, due to his inaction. Now the very large trees have there roots exposed and are about to fall due to the swamp around them. We just don't know who else to turn to at this point. I guess the next step will be to file some type of legal action against the Township. We are hard working taxpayers and take pride in our property and we do expect any municipal and township worker to do the job for which our tax dollars are used, especially since we have made them aware of the situation back in 2009 and nothing has been resolved as of 2012.
