Sunnyside Avenue in Lower Pottsgrove is up in arms over Scott Breidenbach running his business out of house located at 2158 Sunnyside Avenue. We have reported this violation to Township officials including Rod Hawthorne, Manager of Lower Pottsgrove Township. What more can we do to change this situation? The township continues to look the other way and allows Breidenbach to break the law now for many months, almost a year. Is there a special relationhip between Breidenbach and the township which would explain their lack of enforcement of the zoning ordinance? Something is definitely wrong here. The property is rundown, ie. The grass goes uncut for months at a time, snow and ice are not removed, carpeting is placed outside the entrance on the front lawn, in the back, an unkempt swimming pool lies unattended inviting insects and creating a hazard, there is no parking, and on and on. Briedenbach is bringing our property values down. The township is growing and developing at a very fast rate and as in this case many abuses are occurring. All of the officials running our township should be examined closely for allowing these abuses to continue.
