I also received a check from this research group asking me to do a number of things: first deposit the check, then within 48 hours go to western union and send money, then go to Best Buy, Kmart or Walmart and purchase $150.00 worth of products. Then fill out a survey and fax the information. My guess is this check would not clear and if I proceeded, I would be out $2000.00. I hope no one falls for this. And why are they using Nielsen Research are they involved?
