I lost my job in May so I was no longer able to pay my Direct TV bill, but I intended on reinstating my service as soon as possible.in the meantime I received a collections notice dated 01/13 for 176.41. On 02/27 Direct TV drafted 428.45 from my account with out my consent or prior knowledge. Is this what debt collection is coming to? Do we even need collection agencies anymore? How can this be legal? I've spoken to others that this has been done to, but I intend to fight it. Contact CEO Michael White. All it takes is for good people to do nothing. Before you know it your accounts will be drafted for any monthly bill you owe whether you give permission or not.
