I have also recieved a letter and a check for $2,400.00 to deposit into my checking account, to take part in a Western Union and a retail SCAM to purchase items from either (Walmart, Best Buy or K-Mart) These Scams are an ever growing problem. Do not particapate. They are intended to drain your own checking & savings account. The scammers use various Bank and Company names. My Fake letter was from the (Nielsen Research Corp.) and the Fake check is from (Finance Center Federal Credit Union).
