This company fraudulently took money out of my checking account, causing overdraft fees, and for my children to go hungry for a few days. I ordered something on TV in July of pillows to be exact, and the company I ordered from apparently is affiliated with Shoppers Advantage. I received an email that I was enrolled in Shoppers Advantage at the rate of 19.99 per month, the very same day I placed the order.
I called Shoppers Advantage immediately and told them I had not signed up for that program, and I was dis-enrolled with a confirmation #. Right after Thanksgiving, when I went to grocery store, and found out I couldn't pay for my groceries because these lousy people charged my bank account 4 charges of $19.99 over a four day period. They were charging from Aug - Dec! This resulted in three overdraft charges of $35.00 each! Totalling $184.96. To date I have about 14 phone calls into them, two faxes showing the overdrafts charges, and only one credit of $19.99.
