The company promised us a mortgage modification! They even offered a money-back guarantee. First, we had to make 2 payments of $1,500.00. An initial up front payment, and then another payment 6 weeks later. They stated they would file all the necessary paperwork to our current lender. We have been in constant contact with our lender, and just found out that we don't even qualify for their program. We have been submitting paperwork since May. We were told NOT to pay our mortgage, so now our home is in foreclosure and we won't qualify for any programs to save it! Can't contact NMP because they don't return emails and they have no working phone numbers.
