My son in Turning 3 tomorrow, and he wanted a Power Wheels Jeep Hurricane. I purchased it online to be picked up in my local store. Online it showed they had the item in stock. I completed the purchase and waited for my confirmation email, and I was supposed to get a second email when it was ready for pick up. I never recived the first email confirming the purchase, but when I checked my bank account the money has already been taken out. I emailed the customer service department about the confirmation, and recieved a response saying that they checked into the order and found thatthe item was not in stock. The order was canceled (i would not have gotten this information if it weren't for the fact i contacted customer service), the email went on to say they were sorrry for the inconvenience and offered me a 10% discount on my next order.

I could have ordered the item to be shipped to my home, for a shipping fee of $135.00 (They take $20.00 off for orders over $100.00). The jeep was already costing me $450.00 before tax. I called to complain about it and was put through to an in store service rep named Cindy who was completely useless. She said there were no stores in NY that had the item, and then went on to tell me it would take 7 - 10 days for the $486.00 (with tax amount) to be put back into my account! So My son turns 3 tomorrow, I have no "big gift" for him and I am out the $486.00 for at least a week making it impossible for me to go and purchase something else!
