Shame on the Forest Park Police, the City of Forest Park and the Patriot Truck Stop for not doing anything about this!!!
It is illegal to make a left turn out of the truck stop onto Old Dixie Rd, but you can NOT see the signs because the one on the right is completely obscured from view behind a telephone pole, and the one on the left is often obscured by either parked trucks and/or other trucks entering the truck stop.
Why the truck stop has done nothing to warn drivers about this is pretty low, especially since they charge you to park there. The police sit across the street and wait for trucks to pull out, knowing full well, that nobody can see the signs. If the city really cared about making sure trucks didn't pull out and block traffic, as I was told was the reasoning behind the signs, then they would put them where they could actually be seen, instead of using them as a money making racket!
