On memmorial day i took my 83 yrs, old aunt and 68 yrs. Cousin to value village thrift store in forest park, ga., i was sitting with my friend who has drove them up for a family get together and (they love to thrift store shop) while sitting at a dinnette set, i notice that this genleman keep looking at me and my friend but he didnot said anything, after 10 minutes of on and off staring he walk behind me and bump the chair that i was in, i pull up closer to the table, then he return to walk behind me again and bump the chair again, so i said "excuse me" do you want me to move, he reply they are for sell not for people to sit in them while they shop, he kept walking to the front register and i told my friend let move, i guess we didn't move fast enough, because, then he said sometime to the cashier and then walk behind me and bump the chair hard and i hit my elbow against the edge of the glass table, I stood up and ask him what his problem was! He said i must me hard of hearding i ask for the manager he told me he was the assistance manager i again ask for the manager, the manager finally came, and before i could tell me what happen this assist. Manager jump in and started telling him i was cussing him out i explained to the manager that this did not happen and mu friend was telling him also, i saw my aunt and wave her off and told its was ok just finally shopping then this manager told me he has a witness and i has to leave the store what witness the cashier, who said this when i and my friend is trying to tell you what happen then this manager said i will call the police i told him to do it because i was not in the wrong here his manager could have told me to move if i was not suppose to sit on the furniture and there was not sign posted and he was lying about the incidents, i did not want to cause a any further scene so i step outside a few feet on the side of the building, then forest park police show up and this assist. Manager came flying out of the store, i just stood there waiting on him to finish talk and then this security guard came from out of no ward saying he would handle its the offices left and the guard going to ask me my name and birthday i gave its to him and ask for a copy of the report, then guard ask the asst. Manager do he want me barge from the store i ask him was he joking? Do you really want to push this. I call for the store manager on tuesday and and explain to the person who answer the phone why i was calling, left my name and phone number for this embrassment and harassment this assist. Manager cause me to call the police on a customer instead of just telling me not to sit in the floor model chairs. I was so embrassment and then they treated my aunt wrong by glaring at her when she pay for items. We alway hit every thrift store in a 50 miles from forest park, riverdale, decatur and ellwood, ga.
