A guy named Praveen of Indian decent, dark skin, hair and said he was 19 years old knocked at my door at about 5:00pm. VERY friendly, asked alot of questions such as how long my son and I lived here, what I did for a living, spoke to my 11 year old son etc. Very nice and anyway, yes I fell victim to purchasing a magazine subscription for troops in the military over seas. Praveen said the more he sold, the better odds he had to go on his college trip. After he left I "googled" the company name and found sadly that I was lied to by him and scammed. I will put a stop pay on my check first thing Monday morning and I called 911 -described the guy etc so they could send a patrol unit to the area. Never support or donate money unless you know the person. Then report it to the police so they have it on file.
