It is a chronic problem when RiteAid pharmacies advertises sale items. I have had multiple complaints submitted to the sales staff when the store does not have sale itmes for several weeks. I have previously put up with it but this time, I'm fed up. They are advertising 30 oz Best Food Mayonaise at $2.49,30 oz "Selection may vary by store, price with wellness card". Waht can they give out that varies with this item?
Sales people have told me and my husband on separate occasions that they have not had this item for several weeks and are not sure when the item will be delivered to ths store. Legally, they have complied and given us a rebate but... When advertisements are publically distributed, why are they allowed to be without these items? One clerk stated that the delivery was soming in the nest day. Another clerk says the warehouse has been out of this item for 3-4 weeks and that there was no certainty when it would be delivered. That means, we have to keep going back to ths store to obtain the Mayonaise with out Discount Welness card. I think it falsifying, certainly manipulative to place items on salke knowing that the items are not available to stores. Quite honestly, this is not the first time it has happened with this store. Lack of availability has happened previously for honey, water bottles, peanuts etc. AT what point should I send you the paperwork on this sale item of mayonaise?
