I was planning a special dinner for my husband & myself, the reciepe called for cod fish, so we went to Raleys in oakdale, they had Tru cod on sale for 6.99 a pound. So we bought it, I got it home I started preparing the rest of the dinner and when un-wrapping the fish I noticed the smell, very strong, (Cod doesnt smell like this) I knew right away this was not cod! It was red snapper! I hate red snapper, it makes my house stink! I never cook it in my house for this very reasson. And besides the reciepe called for cod. My dinner was reined, and now 2 days later my house reeks of fish! When I called the store to complain, they never denied it being red snapper, it was obveous that they knew it wasnt true cod they sold me! They knew it was a bait and switch! They said they would refund my money, yeah right, will they get the stink out of my house too? I have shopped at raleys for years because of their suposeably good quailty of food, I think this is a low down trick, and they stink more than the fish they sold me.
