Bad fish, bad customer service, lying sales reps

I was going to my dental appt and arrived at the office only to find 2 salesmen from the Atlanta Cattle Exchange showing boxes of frozen food. Dental patients were buying them so I took a look and bought several boxes of food —red snapper, shrimp, lobster and steaks. I took the food home and I had been told that since the food was "flash frozen" to cook it frozen. I was assured by John Neese (?) that if I did not like it he would replace it with whatever I wanted. I took it home and stocked my freezer with most of it and decided to cook the red snapper right away as it was dinner time. When I took the red snapper out of the bags, it smelled kinda fishy but I disregarded that and proceeded to cook it with lemon juice, thinking it would get rid of any fishy taste should there be any. (red snapper should not taste fishy at all) After preparing the sides to my dinner my family and I sat down to eat the fish and it was so fishy and tasted so bad that we all spit it out. We have a dog that gets into the garbage can and will eat garbage and HE would not even eat it! He smelled it, tasted it, spit it out and walked away.
I called this John guy who sold it to me since he made the promise to replace anything I did not like and finally got him to answer the cell # he put on the receipt. He assured me he would be in the same place the next day and for me to call him and we would meet and he would exchange the fish for whatever I wanted. I drove the 10 miles the next day and he was not there —this was after placing over 10 calls to him and he would never answer. I called Corporate and this Linda called me back and said that to call her back if John does not get in touch with me. John never did get in touch with me at all. I bought the food on Thursday, April 29th, made the complaint on the 29th and again 30th and again talked to abrupt Customer No-Service Linda on May 3rd. She was no help and is putting me off claining that it "only has been a few days and that "someone will be getting in touch with me this week." I believe that like I believe pigs can fly. I did cook some of the steaks and they were edible but were so thin that you almost have to eat them well done if you grill them. I have not tried the shrimp yet. All I know is that the snapper snapped its last snap a long time before it was "flash frozen" —it was old and it was bad and inedible. This Linda must be used to a lot of complaints because she is well-versed in putting people off and avoids true customer service like the plague. Her game is to put people off for so long that they give up and she has a rude and abrupt tone like she is daring you to make a complaint. She always seems to be at lunch when I call, even if it is at 11AM or 2 PM. SHE has to return the call. I will wait 2 more days for someone to make good on the bad fish and then I will dispute the charge on my credit card. Meanwhile, like the othe complaint I read, the rotton snapper is taking up room in my freezer. I have no intentions of chasing this John around the county trying to get him to exchange this fish for something else.
