I purchased two automatic espresso makers from WP. Right out of the box, one had a cracked tip on the end of the frothing wand. It took me about five phone calls to get a replacement part. I was told the part was on back order and it took about four months to get it. About a month later, one machine just stopped working. A few phone calls later, I was told to send in the power chord and the label off the back of the machine for a refund. When i finally got the refund cheque a few months later, it was $50 less than what i paid for the machine because they don't refund you the tax you paid. Nor did they refund me the $20 postage fee. So i was out $70 at this point.
A few months later, the second machine broke. I was again told to mail in the power chord and label as my machine has been discontinued. Again I was only reimbursed the cost of the machine only, not the tax or postage. So now i'm out a total of $140.
Needless to say I will not be buying anything else with the WP logo on the front of it. Do yourself a favor and stay away form these poor quality products along with very poor customer service personnel. I imagine with this caliber of products, this company will not be in business much longer.
