This company has been in business since 1925, and serves more than 6,000 clients every year and employs more than 800 people throughout North America. With these numbers of relationships, mistakes and misunderstandings do occur, if for no other reason than we are all human. People are not perfect. The George S. May International Company has a relatively small number of complaints against it when compared to the large number of transactions it makes every year. There are many other companies that would disregard the comparatively small number of complaints, however, May International believes in doing what is right for its clients. George S. May International Ripoff dishonest internally and externally Park Ridge Illinois

I was an employee for almost 6 months and became a Project Manager. The Project Manager is charged with leading the client and staff to completion of the assigned hours agreed to by George S. May and the client. George S. May only makes money billing hours to their clients? The Senior Staff located in Park Ridge will tell the Project Manager or Staff to do just about anything to keep the project open, including to out right lie. I put a question mark by after the sentence billing hours is the only way GSM makes money because it is not. George S. May makes incredible amounts of money through their travel department. George S. May will use tactics to charge a client absorbent travel fees and send the staff another way and save the travel expenses on the invoices that are authorized by Senior Staff to present to the client. I remember a time when my Senior Staff told me to "hit the client hard with high outbound travel expenses" because they did not want to continue with the project. Then they sent each of the staff another way costing the client over $1,400 inwhich the total cost of travel was probably 2 to 3 hundred dollars. This is just one of the many irregularities done by this company which are mentioned in some of the other entries on this site.

However, not only has George S. May ripped off many businesses but they ripped me off personally. On July 31st 2005 all the Project Managers were in a meeting at Park Ridge office. At the end of the meeting the Managing Director Jim Labaugh held a contest drawing for an all expense paid vacation to Las Vegas, NV for two. My business card was pulled from amongst all the other Project Managers and I won the contest. From that time on I called Mr. Labaugh on four separate occasions for him to send me the itinerary for the trip because I wanted to include my daughters on the trip. I told Mr. Labaugh on two of the telephone conversations that I wanted the trip for April 7-12. He stated that, "he sent the request to the travel department & he did not know why it wasn't sent out. I left the company almost 3 months after winning the contest and I wrote the President of George S. May to ask for my trip winnings. Mr Labaugh (not the President Mr. Kushnir) writes back stating that I was not an employee at the time of winning the contest. This is the type of lying and cheating that permeates throughout this organization. Four times I asked for my vacation itinerary and was lyed to. Multiply this times the 3,000 to 4,000 clients that are seen yearly. George S. May can not refute this I am living proof!
