I purchased a GE Washing Machine from Lowes Home Improvement in October, November, or December. The sales person in the appliance department convinced me to acquire a two year extended warranty plan. The washing machine came with a 1yr. Warranty and I paid for two or three more years. The sales person informed me that If I was to misplace my reciept or lose it that they would have records on their computors regarding this transaction. I put a down payment and the rest was financed by Lowes finance Dept. My payments where $56.00 per month for everything. On 1-29 I contacted Lowes Home Improvement and notified them that my washing maching was making a grinding noise. They stated that they couldn't retrieve any records after two years and asked me for my reciept. I explain to this representative that I misplaced my reciept. They told me that there wasn't a thing that they could do and transferred me to another department Customer Care. I spoke with a lady by the name of Olivia. She was less helpful and stated that there wasn't a thing that she could do to assist me. I explained that Lowes finance Dept. Would have records of my purchase and that I was making monthly payments. She refused to check in this matter and stated that there wasn't a thing that she could do. Can you please assist me with this matter because I have been misinformed and taken advantage of my kindness. If they won't help repair my washing machine then I would like to get reinbursed for the total cost of the purchase. The stores address is 14333 Bear Valley Rd. Victorville, CA. 92392 and their phone number is 760-956-7836.
