We were charged £85 each for Circle tickets, which had a face value of £55 each. This is a mark-up of £30 on each ticket.
With extra charges, we paid £177 for two tickets, and the site could not let us choose our seats or tell us seat details until we received the e-ticket the week before the performance.
We appreciate that they are brokers, but this is extortion at its best.
We have queried the price charged with their Customer Services but not had a reply as yet.
We would have been better off to ring the Royal Albert Hall direct, or just walk in on the day, as there were literally hundreds of empty unsold seats, and brokers are ripping people off by re-selling tickets that are unwanted in these instances.
