My complaint is very similar to Theresa's (posted on 1/12)... While on the website, I wanted to check shipping charges before I placed my order; however the site does not allow you to confirm your order before completing the transaction and the charge went through (I found this out after it happened); and it wasn't even the product that I wanted to purchase. I called immediately after that to cancel the order and the agent told me my order wasn't available at that time; I would have to call back in 24 - 72 hours to cancel. The agent also told me to check on the website for the order status. I've been checking and it still says there is no such order. The order was placed on Tuesday and I called first thing today to cancel. I was told the order was processed and would be shipped out tomorrow morning. I asked if they could cancel and stop the shipment from going out (since they have 24 hours before it leaves their location), but to no avail. Their reasoning was that my credit card had been charged. There is such a thing as credit back to my card, you know. Apparently they don't know how to do that.
