I accepted the website offer of a free trial of leanslim and leancleanse on September 28 paying only shipping costs of 2 x $5.18 ($10.36). October 11 my Visa bank called regarding two charges of $94.73 ($189.46) one for leanslim and one for leancleanse. As I had not authorized these charges nor received any product but the ‘free sample’, I cancelled my card and advised I would be disputing these charges. October 29 Leanslim sent an email that my account had been cancelled due to a declined payment from Visa and offered “to work something out and possibly a personal discount”. I asked for more information – eventually finding an address that would receive email from the website. I followed up three more times, first receiving an automated reply that it had been responded to and then nothing. So I telephoned on January 9. I was told my account was charged on October 11, which was exactly 14 days after my order on September 28th. He then proceeded to read me the “fine print at the bottom” (?) which certainly wasn’t on any pages I saw on their website. I said I would refer this back to Visa and he arrogantly replied he would be happy to talk to Visa. Obviously he was where all these issues ended up.
