I signed up for Direct TV and to get the free HD part of the package free I had to allow Direct TV to automatically bill my Credit Card monthly for the programming cost. They started billing other unannounced fees to my credit card also. When questioned about the charges they basically indicated they were normal and customary. The only agreement in the contract is I authorized them to bill my cc account monthly for the programming costs.
