My husband & I went to Lowes to order kraftmaid kitchen cabinets & take advantage of the 2 year no financing. My husband already had a Lowes credit card which we had used 3 times in last 5 years to purchase large ticket items with their no interest program. We ordered cabinets & went up to customer service to pay & his credit limit was not sufficient to cover the 13,000.00 plus charge. Customer service called the financer & they would not allow any more credit than 8500.00. Would send letter why within 3 days. Letter came & it stated he had insufficient credit history. Looked up my husbands credit score & it was 790.
The next morning we hopped in the car & drove to the Home Depot in Parkesburg, PA. Walked into customer service desk to apply for a credit card (husband did not have 1) and they approved him for a 14000.00 credit limit. Not only did we get the cabinets from Home Depot we also got a new oven, an over the range microwave, new counter top and ceramic tile for floor & backsplash with that same 2 years no interest program. Lowes only wants your money when they know they can get interest out of the purchase. Lowes
knows nothing about customer service. We won't be dealing with Lowes any more & have told all our friends & relatives how we were treated and Jimmie Johnson sucks.
