I bought a 2007 Volkswagen Passat from Jersey Village Volkswagen in Jersey Village a suburb outside of Houston. I can't even begin to tell you about the lies and half truths the salesman and the finance guy told us. After just a few months the car began to have major mechanical problems. We took it to the dealer many, many times for other problems. Since it was a certified pre-owned there was to be an extended bumper to bumper warranty. This warranty is NOT what the dealer tells you there are so many loop holes for them to get out of fixing it that it will sicken you to your stomach. After many calls to Volkswagen customer care and speaking to so many different representatives, each telling you limited information. I finally get to speak to a supervisor that had completely verified that even-though I am still under warranty she would not authorize the diagnostic fee. Basically your car has to break down and be in really bad situation before they can fill their obligation to you. This is just the tip of the iceberg. She suggested I write a letter to the CEO of Porsche and she had the power and was not willing to help. This is corporate greed at its finest. We all know that you write the CEO and they throw away your letter. Please I urge you to be careful.
