Received a telephone call from a (Jimmy Smith, sic) who said that they had a problem report from Microsoft, which is probably true.
He then took over my computer with Team Viewer and that my
computer was very slow and had trojan horse and viruses on it.
He continued with my Microsoft license had expired and if I paid a
sum of 217 usd. I would never need to pay again and use as many
computers that I chose.
So like an idiot I gave my Visa card details to him, a few days later Cyber Astro
Ltd. Charged my account the sum of 320 usd. I still have not received an E invoice which I need for my bookkeeping.
The virus program I had installed was Avira Premium which he told was not good enough so today I use Microsoft Security Essentals which is free.
