Unable to contact anyone - Cuisinart Toaster oven

Purchased this toaster oven some months ago (less than a year).
Cuisinart Brushed Stainless Series 6-Slice Toaster Oven/Broiler Sears Item# 00869772000 | Model# TOB-50

In the last month the bottom heating elements have started to fade so the toasting is completely uneven. Called to ask about exchange or credit.
1. Tried online chat through the Website. "Joseph" asked me if was was still there after I had just typed/sent a whole description to him. Then he asked me where I bought the item, right after I had typed that I had purchased the item in the Chicago, State St. Store. At that point he just told me to talk to the store and offered my no further information regarding exchange return policy.
2. Called the store, selected the small appliance dept. From the menu. Rang 15 times then disconnected.
3. Called customer service; talked to a rep. Who asked me what the item was, then immediately transferred me without offering any help. Rang 15 times and disconnected.
4. Called back on my own. Rang 15 times and disconnected.
5. Called again. Rang 15 times and disconnected.
So far, unable to reach anyone just to ask a question.
