Tried to call citbank for a promotional ad and was diverted to assist 123. I was offered a $100.00 walmart gift card for "free" which then turned into a 2.95 fee after I was told "free" many times. I did give them my debit card #. But during the process I told them i didn't want this offer and hung up on them bc they were very presistant. They in turn called me back and said they could not cancel bc they already ran my card through. They also told me i would be getting a $50.00 grocery card and a $25.00 gas card too all for "free". I have called and cancelled my debit card and they did make 3 charges of 2.95. So im not out much but just the thought of it being worse makes me upset!!!
