I ordered information from a grant assist program a few months ago and then my account was charged $57.93. I called my bank right away and they were able to deactivate my debit card so they could not charge any additional money, I caught the scam so early that the transaction was still pending, the bank rep said that it was possible that the transaction would not go through because of the change, and if it does I could call the bank back and dispute the charges.
