Complaint / Review
Dunkin Donuts
Store # 338608 Douglas MA

The community of Douglas was thrilled to have a Dunkin Donuts come our way. Especially thrilled were the poeple of the end of town where there is virtually nothing other than a convenience store. When the shop first opened in our local convenience store all seemed to go pretty well. Many of us folk in town had common complaints about how we did not recieve consistency with our coffees being made and wondered how hard it was for management to actually teach employees how to properly make coffees. How hard can that be?

However; most of us took it upon ourselves to have our coffees made properly until the staff got it down. Eventually a manager Milly came along - all we can say is NIGHTMARE! This woman honestly has no business being in charge in such an establishment. Not only has she driven many of us folk at this end of town to drive right on by, I am sure she has done some serious damage to the poor minds of her employees. Yelling, Screaming, employees crying eyes out in parking lot and on and on and on. The poor gentlement Ray who owns the actual convenient store has lost so many customers due to her poor and inapropriate behavior that we must feel bad for him. I felt so bad as this being none of his doing that I would go in make my convenience store purchases (in order not to harm his business) and off I would go to purchase my coffee on down the road. Ray was hit relentlessly with the Milly complaints but it was out of his hands as he would explain. Which did him no good. Now maybe all the cusotmers that have fled since the appearacne of Milly has gone unrecognized by Dunkin Donuts Corporation but I believe that is due to the time of year that this has happen to occur during.

You see, sales would not look down because we happen to have a State Park and Beach at this end of town to which hundreds of out of towners flock to during the spring and summer season and as I stated earlier this establishment IS IT, it is all there is here at this end of town. I think this needs to be considered if in fact the Corp.in investigating via the way of sales. Now with the season change it may become more obvious. On any account, Milly seemed to disappear and in came a young lady Michelle from out of Dunkin Heaven. It was evident that the employess were much more at ease, they did not "fear" this woman. She seemed to impliment sufficient training to the employess which made a boat load of difference in the customer service. I was amazed at the state to the establishment, it is always sparkling and the employees actually clean with smiles on their face. Yes mistakes are still made but are accepted and corrected with proffesionalsim as they should be under the management of this new young lady. No more "Oh we are out of Med. Cups" no more "We only have milk, we are out of cream". Are you kidding me? I can not express enough how things have changed if not back to how they once were but even better.

So after being a loyal customer once again for a bit of tme and sharing my new experiences with others who have opted out of coming to this store (which I might add is CONVENIENT for us) I/we have been pleased. Pleased until this week anyway when once again Milly's attendace at the store are reeking havoc. Good lord I see the woman once in a blue moon and true to her past behaviors things are INAPPROPRIATE! The staff moral clearly was shoddy, just by the looks on all faces you could tell something was up before the actual Milly sighting. Not 2 minutes into the visit there it was ARGUING with staff. The bad was back in an instant. Very difficult for clientell to tolerate much less understand. It seems that the longer this goes unaddressed the more and more towns people are seeking D&D product elsewhere. Maybe Milly just is not happy at this store location for personal or what have you reasons, none of us can figure it out and we have certainly discussed and tried. But what ever the reason is it quite clearly impacts the service of this store with which we can do without. I know our community would be much happier to see this new woman Michelle continue what she has commenced at this location as we are very tired of trying to predict Millly's moods and customer service.
